A mixture of traditional minimalist architecture and modern interior design makes the town and its building, shops, restaurants and bars a delightful architectural landscape.  The white and blue houses with wooden balconies and colorful flowers create a unique atmosphere.

Mykonos Town is also well known for its shopping. A lot of international and Greek designers have their exclusive shop here or sell through classy, modern shops their goods. Matogianni is the commercial heart of the town. Here are also situated some of the most prestigious greek jewel designers.

Seaside Pedestrian Road

The seaside pedestrian road of Mykonos leads to the old port with lots of traditional style fish tavernas, serving fresh fish. Here are also situated several cafeterias where someone can relax, just having a direct view through the port and its colourful fish boats to the blue sea.

Little Venice
When in Mykonos Town do not miss to visit the area of Little Venice. It has taken its name due to the fact that most of the buildings seaside are build on wooden sticks comparing to those in Venice.

Nightlife

Mykonos Town, especially during the night, becomes a big party place. Here is the centre of fun and nightlife. A lot of bars ,classy restaurants and clubs are setting the night on fire. Mykonians and other Greek visitors mix together with international visitors becoming a beautiful lively crowd.
