Mykonos Port

General

Despite the fact that the large part of tourist traffic, has been transferred in Tourlos, where is situated the new port, the old port of Mykonos remains always busy. It used to serve exclusively the island for many years, connecting Mykonos with Greece’s mainland and the rest of the Greek islands. From here, are still served the ferry boats as well as the highspeed catamarans, as well as boats transferring the passengers who wish to visit Delos island. The visitor from old port can enter Mykonos town, the centre of the action, and access all tourist infrastructure (hotels, bars, restaurants, shops of any kind) by foot walking, which last about 5 minutes.

Mykonos old port is located 200m away of Mykonos town, in its southern side.

How to get there 

Public transportation means connects the old port (Mykonos chora) with the rest of the island by frequent itineraries. There is a bus station right outside the port. In Mykonos town central square, next to the statue of Manto Mavrogenous, is also located the main taxi station, if you wish to be privately transferred. Alternatively you can use a rented car.
